I am knowledgeable about the areas being tested and types of questions on the ECAA (Early Childhood Admission Assessment, sections of the WPPSI administered by the ERB for private school admission), the S-B (Stanford-Binet, required for Hunter College Elementary School), and the OLSAT and NNAT2 (Otis Lennon School Ability Test and the Naglieri Nonverbal Ability Test required by NYC Department of Education Gifted and Talented Programs), as well as the  ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam), SSAT (Secondary School Admission Test), and SHSAT (Specialized High School Admission Test) for upper grades.  However, I do not provide test preparation.

Parents may consult with me in my office, or by phone or e-mail. Ideally, I would like to make myself available to answer brief questions at no charge. However, I have learned that a "quick question" over the phone or by e-mail, most often turns into a lengthy conversation. I thus now charge for in-office, phone and e-mail consultations. I have four billing options, which are outlined below for your consideration. Unless choosing Billing Option III or IV, application and/or report reviews, and consultations with other professionals, are billed at the Billing Option I rate. Application reviews take approximately an hour to an hour and a half per school.

Please be aware that I only charge for phone calls or e-mails when questions are geared to issues relating to a particular child's educational needs or about particular schools.

Please note that rates are subject to change.

For this option, there is a one-time fee of $1100, which includes two 60 minute office visits or full phone sessions, and unlimited phone calls or e-mail correspondences of under 10 minutes each. When phone calls or e-mails run longer than 10 minutes, a new fee will be negotiated. Application review and/or parent interview preparation may substitute for one of the sessions.  Please note that this one-time payment is not refundable in any amount even if allotted time is not fully used.  Signed contract and payment by check is required at initiation of service.

For this next option, there is a one-time fee of $5000, which includes unlimited office visits, phone calls, e-mail correspondences, consultations with professionals, interview preparation, and application and report reviews.  This fee is per child; please contact me for pricing for twins/triplets or children of different ages applying at the same time.  Please note that this one-time payment is not refundable in any amount. Signed contract and payment by check is required at initiation of service.

Billing Option IV: Late Start Relocation Service

        This option is for those families who learn they are moving to NYC after official application processes are complete, but whose child(ren) will need a school placement for that September.  Due to the abbreviated time period, for this one-time fee of $2750, this option includes contacting schools to see which may still accept applications, as well as the services listed under Start to Finish, above.  This fee is per child; please contact me for pricing for twins/triplets or children of different ages applying at the same time. Please note that this one-time payment is not refundable in any amount. Signed contract and payment by check is required at initiation of service.
